    190118-M-HB658-0165 PACIFIC OCEAN (Jan. 18 2019) An AH-1W Super Cobra with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (VMM-163) (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), performs take-offs and landings from the flight deck of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26). VMM-163, 11th MEU’s Aviation Combat Element, continuously performs flight operations in both day and night time environments to achieve qualifications in order to maintain proficiency.
