Sgt. David Lam receives the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 1, 2019. Lam received the medal for his fast response in aiding a U.S. Airman who was in a motorcycle accident on Dec. 31, 2018. Lam, an assistant warehouse chief with 3rd Transportation Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, is a native of San Jose, California.
