    190207-M-YD783-0001 ARABIAN SEA (Feb. 7, 2019) U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Brandon Torres, an infantry Marine with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, briefs Marines on how to execute a rocket battle drill in the well deck of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3). The Marines with 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment took part in the training to practice and advance their skills for combat. Marines and Sailors with the 22nd MEU and Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group are deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
