190206-N-TX939-1009 DIEGO GARCIA, British Indian Ocean Territory (Feb. 6, 2019) Utilitiesman 2nd Class Matthew Backus, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, Det. Diego Garcia, installs epoxy to secure dowels into existing concrete to extend the pad to create a storage area for the Pacific Air Forces War Reserve Materiel program. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
