NAPLES, Italy (Feb. 19, 2019) Construction Electrician 2nd Class David Wellington, assigned to the Public Works Department at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples, Italy, uses a pick axe to dig a trench for a new water drain pipe at Adm. Richard B. Carney park, Feb. 19. The pipe is being installed to help prevent corrosion caused by run-off water from the park's water treatment plant. NSA Naples is an operational ashore base that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where they are needed, when they are needed to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
