NAPLES, Italy (Feb. 19, 2019) Builder Constructionman Amanda Hartjes, assigned to the Public Works Department at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples, Italy, dumps debris from a loader after digging a trench for a new drain pipe at Adm. Robert B. Carney park, Feb. 19. The pipe is being installed to help prevent corrosion caused by run-off water from the park's water treatment plant. NSA Naples is an operational ashore base that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where they are needed, when they are needed to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
