Soldiers with the Minnesota National Guard’s 34th Red Bull Infantry Division walk through a large-scale terrain model of Kuwait at a Kuwait Land Force compound Feb. 20, 2019. The Red Bulls partnered with their Kuwaiti hosts to learn about the history of Saddam Hussein ’s invasion of Kuwait and the national and international response that liberated the nation. The Soldiers, currently deployed to the region as Task Force Spartan, also visited the Al Qurain Marytr Museum to discover one story of a battle between local resistance fighters and the invading forces.
