Soldiers with the Minnesota National Guard’s 34th Red Bull Infantry Division partner with their Kuwaiti hosts to learn about the history of Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait and the national and international response that liberated the nation. The Soldiers, currently deployed to the region as Task Force Spartan, visited the Al Qurain Marytr Museum to discover one story of a battle between local resistance fighters and the invading forces, and also visited a nearby military base where Kuwaiti soldiers walked through the broader picture of the conflict on an immense sand-table of the country.
