190212-N-OP638-085 PORT HUENEME, Calif. (Feb. 21, 2019) Dr. Ramon Flores, science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) coordinator at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), addresses participants of the annual Tri-Warfare Middle School Challenge held at Naval Base Ventura County-Point Mugu. The event is designed to inspire children form local schools to achieve their goals in STEM. NSWC PHD actively engages in a STEM outreach program in an effort to develop the next generation of STEM professionals.
