Vance Brahosky, Deputy Technical Director, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), addresses participants at the annual Tri-Warfare Middle School Challenge held at Naval Base Ventura County-Point Mugu. The event is designed to inspire children form local schools to achieve their goals in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). NSWC PHD actively engages in STEM outreach in efforts to develop the next generation of STEM professionals. NSWC PHD strives to build and shape a mission focused workforce that will accelerate deployment of new capabilities to the fleet.
