U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Mauricio Varonmoncayo runs a 1,000-meter race with swim gear after a 2,000-meter swim during the Scout Swimmers Course at the Camp Hansen Aquatics Center, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 28, 2019. The Scout Swimmers Course provides the Marines and Sailor the ability to conduct long-distance swimming and water rescue techniques and secure beach and landing zones in support of the operation.
