190301-N-LN093-1079 SAN DIEGO (Mar. 1, 2019) Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Jasen Moreno-Garciac(LSD 47) transits the San Diego Bay. USS Rushmore (LSD 47), of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, returned to its homeport of San Diego following a successful eight-month deployment to the U.S. 5th, 6th and 7th Fleet areas of operation.
