Spc. Gerald J. Trahan, a multiple launch rocket system crewmember, assigned to 1st Battalion, 14th Field Artillery Regiment, 75th Field Artillery Brigade, Fort Sill, OK, performs maintenance on the gauges of a M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) prior to conducting a cold load HIMARS rehearsal at Henry Post Army Airfield on March 5, 2019 in preparation for “Operation Phantom Flight” scheduled for April, 2019. “Operation Phantom Flight” is a HIMARS Rapid Infiltration (HIRAIN) exercise that will test the unit’s ability to successfully load and secure the HIMARS and link with the aircraft’s Joint Precision Airdrop System (JPADS) while in flight.
