Sgt. Maj. Brad M. Weber, U.S. Army Europe sergeant major (right), offers advice to junior enlisted soldiers at a mentoring session during the annual Silver Scimitar exercise for human resources soldiers. The sergeants major joined other sergeants majors representing the Adjutant General Corps for the active Army, Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve. Silver Scimitar is to human resources what the National Training Center and Joint Readiness Training Center are for combat arms and support. Sponsored by U.S. Army Reserve Command, it brings together civilian and military trainers and advisers from multiple agencies, including the Soldier Support Institute (the Adjutant General school), Third Army/U.S. Army Central Command, National Guard Bureau, Department of the Army and Department of Defense.
