Command Sgt. Maj. Darlene C. Hagood, Regimental Command sergeant major for the Adjutant General Corps (left), advises a junior enlisted soldier after a panel discussion on Jan. 25 with sergeants majors from the Adjutant General Corps. The panel was held during Silver Scimitar 2012, an annual training event for human resources soldiers from the active Army, Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve that better prepares HR soldiers to perform their missions overseas. “This is an opportunity for us to have all three components together and for us to hear from the soldiers,” said Hagood. Junior enlisted soldiers heard from the top of their enlisted chains of command and asked questions about the changing face of the Army and their career fields.
