The soldiers of the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 119th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, New Jersey Army National Guard, became the first full unit to be reconstituted through the newly developed New Jersey National Guard Family Assistance Center in Bordentown, N.J., on Jan. 11, 2012. The centrally located facility is designed as a one-stop location by maximizing personnel, resources and funding by establishing a combined military and family readiness center capable of providing full-spectrum assistance to service members and their families of all service branches. The facility can host representatives from various state and federal entities ranging from Veterans Affairs, N.J. Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve to the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey. Veterans, service members and their families will benefit from this joint proposal.
