A Sapporo schoolchild hands a thank you note to Cryptologic Technician Collection Seaman Herschel Moore, while visiting a snow sculpture sight. Moore, and the Navy Misawa Snow Sculpture Team, are creating a snow bust of the famous "Lone Sailor" statue that will be on display during the 63rd Annual Sapporo Snow Festival. The team traveled from Naval Air Facility Misawa to Sapporo represent the base and build a sculpture. This is the 29th year Navy Misawa has participated in this festival.
