U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. 1st Class Daniel Horner with the Army Reserve Careers Division fires his pistol during the U.S. Army Small Arms Championships at Fort Benning, Georgia March 10-16, 2019. After seven days and 11 different courses of fire, Horner, a Suffolk, Virginia native, claimed the title as the 2019 All Army Champion.
Interesting fact, Horner served in the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit for several years prior to moving over to the Army Reserve and holds a number of competitive shooting national titles, including 10 U.S. Practical Shooting Association Multigun Champion wins.
The annual, week-long competition that is hosted by the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit is the Army's premier marksmanship competition that tests Soldiers on both their primary and secondary weapons through 11 different courses of fire. (U.S. Army photo by Michelle Lunato)
