    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Three AV-8B Harriers from a Marine Attack Squadron 231 detachment fly over friends and family below on the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point flight line Feb. 2, 2012, following a more than 10-month deployment at sea attached to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit. The MEU deployment is one of the longest since WWII, said Maj. Ben Hutchins, officer in charge for the detachment.
