U.S. Marine Cpl. Mark Rittkaidachar, a range personal safety officer with Regimental Combat Team 5 and 21-year-old native of Perris, Calif., prepares to mark the target of Lance Cpl. Cristian Ruizduenos, a Marine Corps Integrated Maintenance Management System chief with RCT-5 and 21-year-old native of Los Angeles, during a combat marksmanship training evolution here, Feb. 2. Marines and sailors of RCT-5 shot their weapons to calibrate for a battle sight zero, ensuring the accuracy of their optics, and executed various combat marksmanship drills during this training evolution. The training is designed to sharpen basic combat skills as RCT-5 begins the second half of its deployment.
