190314-N-RU084-1005 VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. (Mar. 14, 2019) – Capt. Nate Moyer (Left), commander, Expeditionary Warfighting Development Center (EXWDC), and Command Master Chief David Hall (Right), talk with Mr. Chris Saur (Center Left), a contractor with EXWDC and Lt. David Brown (Center Right) assigned to Naval Construction Group 1, while touring an airfield damage repair (ADR) exercise on Vandenberg Air Force Base, California in support of Exercise Pacific Blitz 2019 (PacBlitz19). The ADR exercise tests Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Seabee units’ ability to assess and repair runways enabling continued support to Navy and Marine Corps operations. PacBlitz19 provides realistic, relevant training necessary for effective global crisis response and provides reassurance to U.S. regional partners and allies of enduring commitment to regional stability.
