Army Reserve Sgt. Ricardo Mencos Lopez, a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear specialist and native of Los Angeles, California, assigned to the 307th Chemical Company, 453rd Chemical Battalion, 209th Regional Support Group, 76th Operational Response Command, pushes himself through a two-mile run enduring cold temperatures and rainy conditions during a joint command Best Warrior competition at Camp Williams, Utah March 21. Nearly 20 Soldiers from around the country have come together to compete in four-days of intense challenges ranging from 12-mile ruck marches, to weapons marksmanship, drill and ceremony, written essays, day and night land navigation and a host of basic Soldiering skills as they vie to rise above their competitors and claim the title of their command’s Best Warrior.
