Nearly 20 Soldiers from around the country have come together to compete in four-days of intense challenges ranging from 12-mile ruck marches, to weapons marksmanship, drill and ceremony, written essays, day and night land navigation and a host of basic Soldiering skills as they vie to rise above their competitors and claim the title of their command’s Best Warrior. The event is the preliminary competition for the annual Best Warrior Competition held by the U.S. Army Reserve Command later this year. (Official U.S. Army Reserve photo by Sgt. 1st Class Brent C.
