While harnessed in, Tech. Sgt. Christoper Reagan, the European Regional Maintenance Center, Headquarters Air Force Flight Standards Agency team chief, begins to climb the runway glide slope tower at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Jan. 12, 2019. Through installing this new instrument landing system, Al Asad Air Base air traffic controllers will be providing the same high-quality data which is used by international airports, bringing well-known international standards to an expeditionary location and enhancing safety in the process.
