Andrew Rodgers tried to take his gun, during a level one Oleoresin Capsicum spray for Security Augmentation Force training Jan. 27 aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. All the Marines that participated in the course were required to complete five stations while having OC spray in their eyes. While standing SAF the Marines will be carrying OC spray and needed to learn the effects, when to use it and how to use the spray.
