U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. John Bland, a drill sergeant assigned to Task Force Marshall at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, provides instruction to Navy personnel during their culminating exercise in March. Task Force Marshall is a unique mission for the 98th Training Division (Initial Entry Training) that requires Army Reserve drill sergeants to train Sailors on combat tactics prior to deploying.
