CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait – Army Capt. Robert Bowman, 420th Movement Control Battalion, removes his uniform during the swim event of the German Armed Forces Badge (GAFB) for Military Proficiency on April 8, 2019, at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. During this event, service members must swim 100 meters in uniform within four minutes and then remove their uniform in the deep end without support. U.S. Army Central hosts events such as the GAFB to further develop its capabilities and increase overall readiness.
