3rd Reconnaissance Battalion Marines salute as colors is played during the memorial service at Camp Schwab for two of their fallen comrades Feb. 3. Both Marines were killed in action during a 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, deployment to Afghanistan last year. Sgt. Daniel D. Gurr passed Aug. 5; Cpl. Adam J. Buyes passed Nov. 26. Both families were able to attend the memorial service.
