ALCOCHETE, PORTGUAL (April 3, 2019) – U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. Ryan Harris, an explosives ordnance disposal technician, and Lance Cpl. Nikolaos Giasemis, an assault Marine, both with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, brief Portuguese Fuzeleiros before conducting a dynamic breaching range during Instruction Exercise at the Alcochete Firing Range in Alcochete, Portugal, April 3, 2019. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 22 and 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment took part in the training to sharpen and build their skills for combat. Elements from the 22nd MEU are participating in INSTREX in order to sustain combat readiness, execute amphibious operations, demonstrate interoperability and continue a strong partner relationship with our NATO ally.
