Father Poly John R. Pascua blesses the new one-room classroom at Victor O. De Guia, Jr. Elementary School in Balian, Pangil, Laguna, Philippines, in an opening ceremony for a building constructed by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, U.S. military and Australian Defence Force, as part of Exercise Balikatan, April 10, 2019. There are numerous humanitarian and civic action projects scheduled during Balikatan. Engineering projects were conducted to improve the local infrastructure of schools and medical facilities.
