NORFOLK, Va. (April 10, 2019) – Commodore, Commander, Undersea Surveillance, Captain Scott Luers, teaches Tabb Middle School students about submarine science during a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics expo at Tabb Middle School, April 10. The STEM for Kids program makes science, technology, engineering and mathematics fun and real for children. The Submarine Force uses STEM to connect with children of all ages and teach them the science behind sonar, buoyancy, and periscope technology.
