Mena, Ark., native, Petty Officer 2nd Class Crystal N. Straub (center), operates an electronic simulated mannequin while local Royal Thai doctors examine it during Exercise Cobra Gold 2012. Straub, a hospital corpsman with Tactical Medical Simulation Center, III Marine Expeditionary Force., uses the mannequin for multiple training situations. Cobra Gold is a recurring multinational and multiservice exercise co-hosted by the Kingdom of Thailand and the U.S. designed to advance regional security by exercising a multinational force from nations sharing common goals and security commitments in the Asia-Pacific region.
