Staff Sgt. Simon Lemay from Headquarters Battery, Second Battalion, 10th Marines Jump Command Post (2/10 Jump CP), and II Marine Expeditionary Force Personal Security Detachment (PSD) patrol the village of Al Fayil, Iraq, and meet with villagers, July 16. PSD and 2/10 are working together in the vicinity of Fallujah to strengthen relationships with the local population. The 2/10 is deployed with Multi-National Forces-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market-based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
