The 1938 Cadillac Model 75 (a full size Cadillac Series 70 V-8 car) was driven by Pfc. Horace L. Woodring (1926–2003), the middle window was rolled down during the accident. The interior of the car is original to the 1938 model. Gen. George S. Patton, commander of the 15th Army, was riding in this series 1938 Cadillac when he was fatally injured in a traffic accident in Germany, Dec. 9, 1945.
