Paratroopers from Headquarters Support Company, Headquarters Headquarters Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division pull back to a safe distance after a sling load is complete Feb. 19 at Kandahar Airfield in preparation for Operation Kalak Hode. A fellow trooper gives the thumbs up to the crew chief on the CH-47 Chinook helicopter letting him know that the radar system is attached as they lift off and fly off.
