Sailors aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz provide preventative maintenance for a jet blast deflector on the flight deck. By adding grease to the hydraulic cylinders of the jet blast deflector it will ensure smooth operation. Nimitz is conducting a fast cruise for returning to sea for the first time since the ship’s docked planned incremental availability. The ship arrived to Bremerton, Wash., to begin its docked planned incremental availability December 2010.
