Staff Sgt. Matthew MacArthur, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 12.2 reconnaissance Marine, climbs out of a crater created by an improvised cratering charge on Camp Lejeune, N.C., Feb. 15, 2012. Marines and Sailors learned how to build different types of improvised demolitions using C-4 and various common materials. The training was part of the SPMAGTF's pre-deployment exercises preparing the Marines and sailors for their upcoming deployment to Africa.
