Cpl. Marc Carlo, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 12.2 motor transport mechanic, fills an ammo can with C-4 plastic explosives and nails, creating an improvised Claymore mine on Camp Lejeune, N.C., Feb. 15, 2012. Marines and Sailors learned how to build different types of improvised demolitions using C-4 and various common materials. The training was part of the SPMAGTF's pre-deployment exercises preparing the Marines and sailors for their upcoming deployment to Africa.
