Eighteenth Combat Sustainment Support Battalion 2nd Lt. William Handy prepares to update a status report during a recent exercise at the Joint Multinational Simulation Center Feb. 23, 2012, at the Joint Multinational Training Command's Camp Aachen located in Grafenwoehr, Germany. The exercise is the first Command Post Exercise since 2010 that integrated VBS2 (a program which enables training in a virtual digital world) with other simulation models to create a realistic scenario for the training unit. Coincidentaly, it is also the first CPX for a non-deploying unit in the last five years to receive a combined training support package.
