Ensign Shannon Magee teaches a student Stop the Bleed. Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune staff took the Medical Center's story on the road April 17, 209, visiting Swansboro Elementary School for a Career and Education Day. NMCCL corpsmen, paramedics and nurses talked to nearly 600 students about bicycle safety, our ambulances and how they help in emergencies, as well as basic Stop the Bleed skills. Interacting with students through career days shows them they different possibilities of who they can be in the medical field when they grow up.
