This meeting is one of several key engagements currently taking place during Exercise Fused Response 2012, a joint Guyana-U.S. military exchange aimed at improving interoperability and increasing capacity among the participating forces. The exercise involves approximately 500 personnel working together in order to improve their collective ability to combat regional threats such as illicit trafficking and organized crime.
