This Lockheed C-130 Hercules provides the transportation for the equipment from Kuwait to Jordan for the emergency deployment readiness exercise that occurred from May 3-10, 2019. The United States Air Force provided the transportation of not only the equipment but their personnel in order to conduct this exercise. The purpose of the exercise is to set up a tactical command post and show their ability to perform command and control from a forward deployed location. As the lead element for Task Force Spartan, the 34th Red Bull Infantry Division works to strengthen partnerships in the region by building upon and leveraging existing relationships.
