Brig. Gen. Michael Wickman, Deputy Commanding General of Operations and Brig. Gen. Taher Marashdih, director of operations for the Jordan Armed Forces were able to visit the area of operation for the emergency deployment readiness exercise in Jordan on May 3- 10, 2019. Maj. Joseph Sanganoo and Maj. Christopher Metzger, operations officers for Task Force Spartan gave an explanation to both senior leaders about the exercise and how it builds the partnership between the United States and Jordan. As the lead element for Task Force Spartan, the 34th Red Bull Infantry Division works to strengthen partnerships in the region by building upon and leveraging existing relationships.
