Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta, greets Capt. Paata Nakani, battalion commander with the 31st Georgian Light Infantry Battalion, during his visit to Afghanistan March 14, 2012. Panetta thanked the Georgian soldiers for their sacrifice. Before he left, he took photos with each soldier and gave them a coin from the office of the Secretary of Defense.
