D-Day monument at Omaha Beach, Normandy, France on May 31,2019. More than 1,300 U.S. Service Members and 950 military personnel from Europe ans Canada are commemorating the 75th anniversary of WWII Operation Overlord, the Allied Invasion of Normandy, France, on June 6th, 1944, also known as D-Day.
