Elk City Lake Park Ranger Barb Busenbarrick uses a piezometer to measure the pressure on the Elk City Lake dam June 3. Park rangers are working 24-hour operations monitoring the dam to ensure it continues to perform as designed. The staff are also managing water releases in accordance with the Tulsa District’s water management engineers’ requests as the engineers try to minimize flood impacts across the entire region.
