Air Commandos with the 352nd Special Operations Wing, based out of RAF Mildenhall, fly over Carentan, Normandy June 5, 2019, to honor the tasks Allied forces undertook during Operation Overlord on the early morning of June 6, 1944. The 352nd SOW flyover featured four MC130J’s and four CV22B’s, which had commemorative decal painted on to represent the Air Force Special Operations Command’s heritage from the 1st and 2nd Air Commando groups in WWII.
