U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 271 and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) along with U.S. Navy Sailors with the Naval Boat Docks Division, begin undocking a barge for the (BT-11) training grounds, June 4, 2019. Marines and Sailors stationed on MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina, conducted a barge demolition at the BT-11 site. The barge was taken out to be used as a target for pilots and ground forces training at the site while providing EOD the opportunity to practice their occupational skills.
