Sailors perform the physical screening test for the Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field school on June 12, 2019 at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas. A Physical Screening Test (PST) is administered after shipping to boot-camp. The sailor must meet the following minimum standards on the PST prior to their class convene date at "A School”: Swim: 12:30; Push-ups: 50; Curl-ups: 50; Pull-ups: 10; and Run: 10:30. Applicants must volunteer for duty involving aerial flight and be physically qualified and psychologically adapted for flight. Search and Rescue Medical Technicians (SAR) must be certified as a class II swimmer. (Photo by Tristin English)
