Volunteers provide Gatorade a rest station along the course of the Bataan Memorial Death March here, March 25. The event was heavily supported, with thousands of volunteers, water and aid stations every two miles, and medics on standby due to the course's high elevation and heat. The course elevation ranged from 4,000 feet to 5,500 feet, and temperatures reached 85 degrees.
